Day 01 :

Marrakech – Imlil Valley (1,740m) – Toubkal Refuge (3,207m)

The Scenic Start: Your adventure begins with a comfortable 1.5-hour drive from Marrakech to the beautiful Imlil Valley.

Welcome & Briefing: Meet your private local team (certified guide and mule drivers) over a warm, traditional mint tea at our guesthouse while reviewing the route map.

The Trail to Basecamp: Set off trekking along the Mizane Valley, passing the scenic village of Aroumd.

Mountain Lunch: Stop after a steady 2-hour hike at the sacred Sidi Chamharouch shrine (2,350m) for a delicious, fresh lunch prepared by the river.

Arriving at the Refuge: Continue uphill for another 3 hours as the landscape turns beautifully rugged. Reach the Toubkal Refuge (3,207m) after 5 to 6 hours of total walking for a hearty dinner and overnight stay.

Day 02 :

The Summit Victory (4,167m) & Recovery

The Early Push: Wake up early for breakfast before making the steep, rewarding climb on rocky mountain terrain (approx. 3 hours up).

Standing on Top: Reach the majestic summit of Jebel Toubkal. Take in the breathtaking, worthwhile views of the High Atlas.

Relaxed Descent: Hike back down via the same trail to the basecamp. Instead of rushing back to the city, enjoy a hot lunch, relax your legs, and spend a peaceful second night at the refuge to fully soak in the achievement. (Total walking: 6 to 7 hours).

Day 03 :

Return to Imlil Valley – Marrakech

Morning Descent: Savor breakfast at the refuge before a steady, easy hike back down the mountain trail to Imlil.

Celebration Lunch: Arrive at our traditional guesthouse in Imlil for a final celebration lunch with the team.

Transfer Back: Enjoy your private transfer back to Marrakech, arriving with unforgettable memories. (Total walking: 4 to 5 hours + 1.5-hour drive).

Can I leave my main luggage somewhere during the trek?

Yes! You only need to carry a small daypack with your essentials (water, camera, layers). Your main suitcase or backpack can be safely stored at our guesthouse in Imlil, or it can be carried by our mules to the refuge if you prefer.
