Day 01 :

Marrakech – Imlil Valley – Tizi Mzik Acclimatization Hike (2,489m)

The Gateway to the Atlas: A comfortable 1.5-hour private transfer takes you from Marrakech to the trekking hub of Imlil (1,740m).

Briefing & Tea: Meet your local team over a welcome mint tea at our traditional lodge to review the 4-day strategy.

The Acclimatization Hike: Set off on a beautiful warmup trek up to the stunning Tizi Mzik Pass (2,489m).

Fresh Alpine Lunch: Savor a delicious lunch freshly prepared by our cook at the pass while enjoying panoramic views.

Rest & Recover: Descend back to your comfortable lodge in Imlil for a relaxing dinner and overnight stay. (Total walking: approx. 4 hours).

Day 02 :

Imlil Valley – Sidi Chamharouch Shrine – Toubkal Refuge (3,207m)

The Ait Mizane Trail: Fuel up with breakfast at the lodge and begin trekking along the scenic valley toward the village of Aroumd.

The Waterfall Shrine: Hike up to the famous, jumbled stone houses of the Sidi Chamharouch shrine next to a roaring waterfall for a fresh lunch stop.

Steady Ascent to Basecamp: Snake your way up the steadily zigzagging trails to the Toubkal Refuge (3,207m). Savor a hot dinner and sleep under a magnificent starry sky. (Total walking: 5 to 6 hours).

Day 03 :

The Peak Victory (4,167m) & Rest

The Alpine Dawn Push: An early pre-dawn start to navigate the south cirque and mountain scree fields safely during the coolest hours.

The Roof of North Africa: Stand victorious at 4,167m. Celebrate with 360° views spanning the majestic Atlas peaks down to the distant edges of the Sahara.

No-Rush Descent: Hike back down to the refuge for a well-deserved hot lunch and spend a relaxed, stress-free second night at basecamp. (Total walking: 6 to 7 hours).

Day 04 :

Basecamp – Imlil Valley – Marrakech

The Easy Walkdown: Enjoy your last mountain breakfast before a steady, relaxed descent down the trails back to Imlil.

Celebration Feast: Stop at our guesthouse in Imlil for a final celebration lunch with your guide and support crew.

Return to Marrakech: Board your private vehicle for a smooth transfer back to your Marrakech Riad. (Total walking: 4 to 5 hours + 1.5-hour drive).

Can I leave my main luggage somewhere during the trek?

Yes! You only need to carry a small daypack with your essentials (water, camera, layers). Your main suitcase or backpack can be safely stored at our guesthouse in Imlil, or it can be carried by our mules to the refuge if you prefer.
